ZTO, By Your Command, Hyperdrive and Color Your World are my favourite tracks. here you are just attacking Devin Townsend for whatever reason by acting.

4. Ziltiod the Omniscient by Devin Townsend A concept album that tells the story of an alien who travels to earth in search of the universe’s greatest cup of coffee. I find it hilarious, and the music is fantastic (as Devin tends to be), except I do not like like the snare sound he used/5(52).

The main theme of Dark Matters is, according to Townsend, "Ziltoid against the world"/5(60).

Ziltoid was a huge breakthrough for me artistically, and my future I think is FULL OF ZILTOID, however, the realizations that came with making this record opened up a can of worms that I knew, even at the time, had to be purged and clarified before I would be able to fully explore the ‘Ziltoidian’ world .

8. Ziltoid the Omniscient is a rock opera about Ziltoid, an alien who approaches Earth and asks for the planet's "ultimate cup of coffee." Finding it "fetid," he attacks. However, the narrative isn't highly evolved. The humans escape his clutches, Ziltoid suffers a number of setbacks (and resulting existential crises), and the end implies that it was all just a dream.
